Steve GT Posted April 29, 2010 Share Posted April 29, 2010 you cant weld it lol well not proper welding its alliminium so you'll have to get it ally welded but not a good ideawhat intercooler is it? mine used to pop off when i tightened the jubilee clips as tight as i could get them.......with a screwdriverim presuming their the clips that are a nut with a possie screwdriver slot in it. you tighten it up with a screw driver it wont be tight enough. try getting a socket on it i guarantee you can turn it another 5-10 turns. that will be tight enoughthe intercoolers hold a lot of pressurised air theyve got to be as tight as you can get them matey Quote Link to post Share on other sites

lukEp Posted April 29, 2010 Share Posted April 29, 2010 I have the same intercooler kit as you mate i just took the pipe off, ruffed the end up with some sand paper and it not popped off since just give it a good clean before you put it back on Quote Link to post Share on other sites
