greggt Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Lol I was joking about the hammer, normally helps with everything else AS above, if you can, let it soak in a lubricant for a while, it may well unseize then Quote
Matt Glanza Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Don't heat them up as they are gas filled on could do some serious damage.vboi had a set of these on his glanza and were only a year old and he had the same problem and couldn't free them in the end he had to buy new ones. Quote
BenV Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 ^^ exactly the same problem i had and i did try everything! even heating them up, dispite the warning label lolgot a set of bc coilovers in the end as spare parts are readily available for reasonable money Quote
Raz Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 It's like the tyre valves, once they have seized on... you will be lucky to get them moving, thats why you copper grease stuff Quote
Kaaaty Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 GUtted i'll try soaking them next week or 2 over night and see what happens. i keep gettin told to just do away with the bottom collar as the euro boys dont bother, but i dont want it on its arse and i cant see them not adjusting themselves all over the shop if they dont have that retaining bottom collarand i have the correct spanners dean Quote
