Dave L-W
I've done a search on clutches but I want to know what clutch people advise. mine has just started slipping. I'm not running much if any more power than standard. I just have a blitz nur spec system, blitz air filter and no catalyst and thats it. Looked on camskill but their kit seems to cheap to be true and my car is my daily driver so I don't want to be replacing it again in 4months time. where should I buy one from?I did think of going for a paddle clutch incase I do go for more power sometime but I'm doubting it and plus I thought it would put too much work on the flywheel (and they're a bit snatchy).anyone shed some light on this for me pleeeease?thanks guys and girls

Wasnt sure which to go for as dont know what the fututre brings with mods etc. But i ended up going for a Exedy standard replacment clutch off TM Developments (Dave), fairly cheap too. Due to cash situations and ease of use, being used as daily driver. If your not planning to be modding past stage 1 mods then should be fine on a standard replacement one i should think. Prob aint helped much but was just talking from my experienceStew
riko666
I have a lightly used Racing Gear organic clutch disc going cheap if you want it?
Dave L-W
Thanks StewAnd you have no problems with yours then? I'd probably only go to 160bhp at the very maximum, and I don't dump the clutch. so this should be fine then?that's damn cheap aswell!
Dave L-W
Sorry Riko I'll have to pass. I'll get a brand new one for piece of mind. Thanks anyway

No havent had any probs with mine, real smooth engagement/disengagement etc. Youve had a look on the site i take it? I would think 160bhp would be close to the limit on a standard clutch but im not completely certain on what a standard clutch would start slipping at, im sure other guys on here will help me out?But m running pretty much standard atm, except rx7 cooler, and some lil upgrades like Dumpvlave, plugs, air filter etc. And all works a treat
