Hey I've just bought a TTE backbox and it has a small patch of rust on the top of the box that feels tender and has a small hole in it (very small). Does anyone have any ideas as to how I should go about sorting this before I put it on my car? Cheers

errr you could try to get it welded up, may just rust through again though mate, rust in exhausts is usually terminal (unless its just surface corrosion).

Bin it and get a stainless steel one, could weld a patch on it i suppose but like ecksjay says it's probably gonna come back.

the centre of my tte backbox has rusted and is rattling, either look for another one or a stainless steel system but they are expensive and reasonably hard to come by.

take it to a exhaust place mate and get them to patch it.

it will probably see you thru about 6-8 months.

it'll probably cost you 20 30 quid.
