i just got offered a part exchange no a very tidy looking gt, the only thing is i dont have the money to go along with my car, im gutted lmao

I was haveing a chat with the lad who owns that GT the other day....He paid £750 for it as a non runner, he has spent a good bit on it to get it right but i think he is asking abit to much for it as it wouldn't of cost him that much to fix!!!

i know his gf is scared of it so i offered my less powerful sportif glanza rep and hes asked for pictures but i dont want to send them and not be able to follow through if he likes it lol

LoL yeh he said the same to me that his gf was scared of it but im not so sure it is because of that!! I was haveing a chat face to face with him as he live's near me and by the sounds of it all he is trying to do is make a quick buck like i say he got it for £750 and all that was rong with it was the headgasket so if he went out and got a new engine for £500 that meas he has paid £1250 for it now he is selling it for £2300!!!!!!

i just got offered a straight swap for it aswell but because of my joblessness i cant cover the insurance on 1 and also i gta go on holiday too, i cant even afford to pay my tax at the end of this month so gunna have to leave it in the garage for 2 weeks til i get paid again

He also said to me that he change the headgasket on the old engine so has he got a new engine or has he just change the headgasket???!!!!!!! if i was you id say clear from it mate its starting to sound abit fishy.

Also if you are on jobseakers allowance ask them if they will pay for you tax....Say you need your car on the road so you can get your self back into work...If its off the road then its going to be harder to find work

and i know im not really keen on the color either, its the yaris blue he told me, because i asked if it had a respray or was it just the camera makin the silver look funny but its had a respray, im not gunna be gettin anything until ive sorted myself out with a job, and my old employer still owes me nearly a grand from 2 months ago which ive got to use for my holiday in july.

^^ i was going to buy that gt when the lad said i could take it for £500 it only needed head gasket plus the decat that he has listed was already on the car

Im not 100% if they will pay you tax but its worth a shot..

makes no odds what he paid for it, you still buy cars from dealers, and thats how they work, if the guy has done what it says, hes put some man hours into it. and by the add, it looks like its had a new engine, and while the block was out, the timing belt, HG, and all the other gear has been done, if he has reciepts to prove it, then sure the car is worth his asking price, only thing is the manifold and decat quote, for £130 for the pair, im not sure they would be too good.

just my 2p. downside, its not original colour, so not appealing to all
