Idrees Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Act 6 Puk from Ricky (Race Tech) or Spec 6 Puk from Nick (Tuning Developments). I went for the Spec on my old Glanza and if was super. I just bought another for my current Glanza (target power approx 270hp). I've heard good things about the Act clutch too, they look the same apart from the colour! Quote
silverglanza Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 right then cheers whats the prices of all of them just want a good one so it wil not have to be done again lol ill take a look at td's web nowwhat about this one Quote
Glanza_cl Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 dont go near ebay! it will be shite... only go with one from the traders on here on tgtt. Quote
silverglanza Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 just been on nicks td webb site do u no what the other web sites are so i can take a look at all of the options open to me Quote
Idrees Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Do NOT buy Exedy. They are rubbish and will fall to pieces after little abuse, I've heard of many cases like this and experienced it myself too. Take a look at the Race Tech traders section on here mate. Quote
Glanza_cl Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 What does Puk mean?think it just refers to the design as its not a disc as much but is lots of individual 'puk' like sections that make up the clamping plate... could be well off there ;) but dont think its anything special. hence a 4 puk has four clamp areas and a 6 puk has 6 clamping areas. Steve GT Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 buy a standard one for 180 bhp there more than capable of handling that no point in getting a really expensive one for the price if your not running huge power Quote
silverglanza Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 What u guys think of that exceedy 180 pound on he claims it will do my car no prob Quote
Ryan Milne Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 After just fitting a 6 puk from Nick at TD, i would definetly recommend spending extra cash for one. Quote
