Krissyb Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 Been meaning to strip down the rear of the car for a while now just needed the time and weather lol.So on Friday I stripped the calipers off and mounting brackets , cleaned them up and gave them the special hammerite spray treatment.I then decided to degrease and deshit all of the rear underneath of the car and give the arches a coat of hammerite and also fit my powdercoated rear ARB. Anthracite and Black powder coat is the theme so I thought I'd stick to that.I also removed the Cusco's and fitted my new Meister R's too which look awesome( If only they were Blue.)Here's the pics guys:Calipers and Brackets after a degrease:After a few coats:Rear beam and underneath before some Magic:After a quick degrease, wire brush and wipe over and brackets calipers mounted, and arches painted.Soaked all bolts in some vinegar for a few days then they were all copper greased up and all bushes greased too.ARB and final touches:Not finished yet eventually I'll get the rear subframe polybushed and powder coated but getting there.
