Brakes,discs,lines And Oil

so far ive found this as a complete set up for my car

4 x hel braided lines £59.95

EBC ultimax rears £29.99

rear grooved brake discs £157.50

hawk front carbon £58.95

motul dot 5.1 1ltr £17.98

total = £326.39

do you think this is a good setup or could it be better ideally £300 was my limit

I have some Hel's brakes lines (front only) only used for a couple of months (bought them from nick at TD.

I've just bought Nicks Ultimate Fast Road Package, with VAT and shippenz it came to £311, no rear discs or pads in that tho.

I got my Brake Package from Mike at Monster Motorsport for about £250 that included. Front Black Diamond Discs, EBC Green Stuff Pads, and Hel Braided hoses.

Plus put some new fluid in and now my brakes are immense,

Tbh Uprated discs and pads are over rated (I thought)

Was awsome on my n/a but just didnt cut it on the GT.

IMHO id get

vented front discs (no drilled or grooved pap) + the pad of your choice "hawk carbon"

standard rear solid discs and EBC ultimax (at the most) even some blueprint pads will see you stop well

braided lines all round

Thats it mates.....if you find this lacking for your needs get some wilwoods/WMS brakes

mark fitted the EBC grooved vented and dimpled discs and EBC yellow stuff pads to mine today, and im very pleased with them! much improvement!

that just leaves the lines and fluid.
