Clock keeps re-setting itself

Ive not long had my EP91 and every time i get in the car the clock reads '1:00'

also the interior light doesnt work

my first thought was a fuse but i cant find one

any ideas???

does the radio work ok? as the interior light, clock and radio all work off the same fuse.

alternatively does you radio save radio stations and settings? if not you may have a dead permanent live.

yeh iva had bother with the stereo not saving anything

how do i rectify this?

the SR had been stolen and had the stereo nicked at come point so the ISO plugs had been cut (how hard is it to just unclip the fucking things - stupid thieves) so i have re wired ISO plugs again

right. theres your problem.

you will need to trace the loom for the stereo back and find the wire that should be the permanent live, see if it has power, if not, then wire in a new permanent 12v. this should rectify the memory problem, as im sure the clock runs off the stereo too, so it should solve that too.
