Mikey Jay
Welcome to UKSC Blip!! Is all down to choice really but for obvious reason would recommend a non-turbo starlet (a big no in regards to insurance) but in regards to which one I can't really say as only have a Starlet S (the lowest model), however, it is still damn good!!All comes down to what you like and can afford
shelly_star
Welcome Blip! Enjoy your stay to the weird and wonderful world of starlets...... great. lol
Guest Enzo
welcome bro, starlets are solid in general, but do a search and all the bad points to look out for have been listed, pic of the bunch are >98 starlet s, gls and sr,sr bein the sporty equivlent with speedline rims, and a fer parts from toyota team europe, namely spoilers, back box, springs etc,the gls is considered the luxury model with crome bits here n there and a few other added partsall na ep91s are same engine wise but any other models like the sportif and stuff do not come with a rev counter, youve made a good choice as ull soon realise,
Blip
Thx Shelly and Mikey, I have quite a bit of money come through at the moment so that aint really an issue but i dont wana spend anymore than 2,500 maybe 3,000 topps. What models am i looking at do you think? I have been looking around on autotrader but no one says on there what model there car is. soz if i'm already being a pain in the arse
Mikey Jay
I was lucky with mine as got my Starlet S with 37000 miles on it in puurfect condition for £2400 but I think its only because it was a part exchange so the garage (a Suzuki dealership) wanted rid of it as it wasn't their own brand.Just have to keep looking around for a bargain, the more patient you are the more likely you are to get a good car that'll serve you well. Sparky
Welcome to the club mate........ SR is definitley the one to go for, pick one up for about £2200 then you can spend the rest on insurance or mods ;) Happy hunting
Jozinobi
Welcome to UKSC Blip! ;) I would go for an SR too if you can find a nice one! ;)But its not the end of the world if you can't!It does come ready with decent starter mods/parts, so you wont have a hard time finding the parts if you wanted to convert into a SR like I did lol.Check out the Extreme EP Rides Section as there are many of us non-turbo starlets owners and you can hopefully see the uniqueness in each of them and what can be acheived.>>> Extreme Ep Rides SectionEnjoy Your Stay & Happy Hunting!Hope to see you taking part in the various forum discussions soon!Peace OutJ Z
