Advantages Of An Import?

Just a quick question - I've had a call about an EP82 N/A jap import thats being broken down the way from me - I have an N/A EP91.

Are there any tuney bits on the standard jap imports that weren't seen on UK cars?

the rods are thicker

the inlet and tb are also bigger

it produced 25 extra bhp.

Interesting!! Are the manifold and throttle bodies a bolt on upgrade or would I need to change the ECU etc to take advantage of it?

the tps on that should be three plug instead of four but im pretty sure if your compitent you could see the differences between the two throttle bodys, i get one of these engines on friday so will be able to advise more on the interchangability of the tb

the inlet manifold is a straight swap.
