Idrees
Hey guys,Would it be a bad idea to fit my oil cooler and oil filter relocator with my newly built engine? Should I fit it straight away, or should I wait til I've ran the engine in and had it mapped?Cheers,Idrees
nastyrash 2003
its all good mate as long as you use a oil thermostate and temp gauge, and prime your lines before start up.
GTnomez
Thermostat is a must mate! People tend to leave that out. You dont want a cold engine all the time!
GTS GAV
deffanlty agree with this so many time peaple over look the thermostat, quick question what are you using the car for? lots of track action etc? as the only thing that worries me is all the extra oil line connection some times 6 or even 8 more, have seen to many time a hose popping off of a fitting breaking only neads to happy once and its good bye engine for that reason i never fitted mine, but if your doing alot of track days then its a must but for strip and road use i cant rearly see the nead
