can people not delete stuff til I've seen it please!! im being asked to look into things and when i do the offending material is removed, makes my job a little difficult and leaves me with no option other than to say "sorry, nothing i can do as i can see no evidence of anything untoward".

traders dont delete posts, moderators and admin do, if u want me to address problems i need to be able to SEE the problems!

Phil.

Meister R review :

Basically after seeing and hearing that alot of people are changing suspension/chassis setups to accomodate the every decaying UK roads I thought I'd give my honest input into the new Meister R's available to us.

My suspension before consisted of Cusco Type Zero coilovers with pillowball topmounts. The handling was awesome and the ride quality extremely firm, they were nice with my old 4e Td04 setup and I loved them even with my LSD.

However after going 5e Gt30 d6.gifand aiming for a fast road car, track car it was decided that I needed something more suited to roads int he Southeast and by me saying Southeast I mean crater filled roads that are badly repaired.

I considered BC's, Teins, Meister's K-sport everything but eventually settled on the Meister's as the spring rates were awesome and they were developed with UK roads in mind.d5.gif

Jerrick is a top fella and delivered the coilovers to my house for me to fit.d7.gif

First Impressions were great, the coilovers looked the part, well made, solid, plenty of damping settings, full comprehensive instructions and new nuts , C-spanners to accompany the kit.rockon.gif

They were uber easy to fit even for a dummy like myself , and if I say they were easy I mean easy I just make it look hard as I take days cleaning, painting, powdercoating, greasing etc etc etc lold4.gif. The fronts taking around an hour and the backs around the same.

Whats even better is that the coilovers come pre-setup and on the right height settings, sitting the car lovely and low but not low enough to ruin, flexi's, bearings, arches.wink.gif

I had an issue with the tracking and alignment being thron totally out ........... but not a problem Jerrick put me onto a good friend Ian from I.A motorsport who specialises in drift and race suspensions setups and within 2 hours my car was handling and driving awesome.

On the road with a mid damping setting the car feels like its on coilovers but soaks up bumps and potholes fantastically while still giving you that confidence to chuck it in to a roundabout and come out the other end facing the right way.

On the softer damping settings you could do a 400-500mile journey easily and still get out without backache , again soaking up bumps and lumps very easily but I did get some scrubbage on the arches due to me using 10mm spacers to accomodate my Wilwoods. But that is to be rectified with wider arches eventually.

On the Hardest setting this suspension again is great but it would absolutely be at home on a track but still gives a feeling of comfort.

Im still testing these and have done 300miles this weekend alone, The main difference for me is that the car gets traction when accelerating hard over a slightly uneven surface and doesn't want to guide you into the nearest hedge.

All in all a great coilover for anyone considering a different setup to the norm.
