What Is A Good Sticker Size?

Recommended Posts

looking at getting some stickers made up and the place I am using can do them any size I wish as they charge by the metre. Is 60mmx50mm too small? Is 100mmx84mm too big?

In otherwords what size would you make them if you were putting a cool sticker on your car?

I dont think people really specify a size when it comes to stickers. When I get stickers I get them whatever size they are and just make them fit in a suitable place for the size.

If these stickers are for your detailing business I think something small that could be stuck on the paintwork saying "Polished by Ninja Shine" would look cool.

is it for your ninja shine logo? i'd say it's dependent on the size of the text in the logo. i'm having some project 3 developments logo made up in about 185mm x 35mm

Is it going to be a full on fledged business?

If so, then Ninja shine isnt a good name to start off with. That is what i think.

Ok, why not?

I think it doesnt really relate to the business durectly unless you are a shinobi practiced in the arts of espionage and assassination. Again to me, the name suggest you clean garments such as Gi's or Tenugui's for a direct niche market.

There are far better names in that thread you have but its what I think and I alone so dont take it as an insult or anything of the like mate

Not at all dude, just wondered why.

As we will be stocking quite a bit of JDM detailing products I wanted something that related to Japan that was a bit different.

Thing is a lot of companies do not relate to the product any more and would prefer a brandf and logo that people will remember.

No i know what you are/trying to do but again even concerning Japan related, potentially there are better names mate.

The Rising Shine maybe?

:)

The morning glory is first thing that came into my head.

Bit late to change it now we own teh web address lol

As my mate just said:

I like the name, at the end of the day it's got a funkyness that people are more likely to remember and the "shine" kinda clarifies that its related to cleaning. Seeing that kinda sticker on a half decent car, especially a clean one, is gunna make people realise it's related to car cleaning products not japanese ninja clothing! Plus, as you point out, a name doesn't have to be descriptive in that sense as long as it's marketed well. Look at the likes of JCB for example, it doesn't say 'digger' anywhere in it but it has a reputation. I work for 'Thorworld' - what the hell does that have to do with loading bay equipment?? But people in the industry know it and regognise it as a reputable brand.

I appreciate the critisim though dude

When you try to look for the relation between the name and product you are bound to make sense of it as thats what you are looking for.

So you will be aiming just at the JDM market/forums? Similar to opie oils where he is on all forums?

Im not criticising you or even constructive criticism. It was just a view from a person new to the name mate  Beside ive been watching Dragons then back to back recently on BBC iplayer LOL! Next ile ask your projected turnover lol

And as for JCB, its the guys name and it did have excavators in the name before he made it big.

You wanting years 1 2 and 3?

Its nice to hear from a different point dude, I just wanted something different that would hopefully stand out from the crowd.

With plenty of exposure and hard work (especially from a friend who is an online marketing manager for the company I work for) we should be able to grow the brand
