nazzurro19
im thinking of ways to try and overcome boost creep so i can full throttle without fuel cuttingi was thinking of doind this - is this adviasable/correctoption 1 - get a manual boost contoller , and adjust it til i can full throttle and not hit boost creep, then leave the controller aloneoption 2 - get an electronic boost controller set up to 0.75 so i dont hit fuel cut, < will this get rid of creep or will creep still happenoption 3 - porting the wastegate is this the only thing to get rid of boost creep ?i thought if i had a controller set to 0.75 then the actuator wouldnt open anymore and thus shud stop my creeping problem ? DavidAshton
A boost controller can't combat creep. Your boost will go to what ever you set the controller to, then creep. So option 1 and 2 wont work.Option 3 will most likely work. Other options would be to use stock intake setup or put decat back in if you have taken it out. Also I found fitting a fmic helped stable boost when I was running lower boost levels.i thought if i had a controller set to 0.75 then the actuator wouldnt open anymore and thus shud stop my creeping problem ?An actuator doesnt work like this. It will already be fully open but unable to get rid of exhaust gasses quick enough through the small wastegate hole causing creep.
