looking for an exhaust system / backbox for my car but need it to be as quiet as standard?

or quiet for the first 3-4k revs?

parents dont like loud exhausts plus my mum drives the car too (hates exhausts) but keeps it under 2-3k revs so "quiet for the first 3-4k revs" would be ideal too...

is that possible?

thanks

I think if you just kept the standard centre pipe all the way through and changed the back box, it should sound nice without being loud as the centre silencer would still be on.

I've done this on mine as a temporary thing for now, doesn't sound to bad to be honest.

get a custom jobby like mine :) perfect for low revs, cant hear it if theres something coming from the speakers (and i dont mean proper blasting, just a bit of background music/radio and its quite, unless you boot it, but i doubt your mum boots it?
