rpsmith79
I'm currently trying to get my GF's 1998 Starlet Sportif1.3 through it's MOT, and it failed on rear brakes imbalanced and ineffectiveI've bought the brake shoes, but i can't for the life of me see how to remove the actual drumAll i can see is 2 10mm bolts on the back that seem to hold the brake pipe in place, then a rubber grommet just below itCheersRich
Dean @RW-Developments
ive taken them apart afew times jack it up put on acel stands! etc take the handbrake off and the front part just prizes off but its a rite pain in the arse, i usually use a flat headed screw driver to stick in the gap to slide it off, the pads will still usually grab the drum even with the handbrake off.
