I don't know mate. They prob help keep the hood down alright but I don't think there a must. I know loads of people with CF Hoods with no pins and they have no probs. I think this was mentioned on TGTT before bro...

Thats on the mods list, anybody know exactly what type of black paint should be used for a nice carbon style effect? And anybody think ill be able to spray it myself? Ive done wheels bumpers and stuff before, never metal body part though..

Shows removing the bump strips reveals a much cleaner look.

Its whether you want to go for looks or performance as CF bonnets aint cheap...whereas that dosh can be spent sorting out a few nice bits that will help more...
