I've looked at all the plugs into the thrmo housing and around it and also at the back of the clocks but cant seem to see any corroded terminels ect, anyone have an idea what the problem could be?thinking of just buying a new water temp guage...cheers josh

durmz
I really dont see how it can be the thermostat, that seems like nonsense to me. if the thermo was stuck shut the water would get really hot, if it was stuck open, itd take longer to warm up, but inevitable warm up atleast a bit. have you checked the spade connectors on the side of the thermostat housing? mine stopped working and it was this. either way theres something electrical not hooked up or working
Josh@TunerLifestyle
yehh I've checked all terminals and cleaned them, not sure wich one it was so cleaned them all ! lol when the car is warm and i put the heaters on in the car ther not that hot tbh.. recon that could be something to do with it?
