starlet1.3si
hi i noticed recently somewhere on a forum that somone was considering a 5-stud conversion on a starlet WHY?? what are the hidden/ perceived benifits of this conversion ??? is this reality yet comment or constructive advice lyletbh i dont think there is any benefit apart from maybe having a larger range of alloys to choose from, or if you have some alloys you want but only do them in 5 stud then obviously you would do the conversion, but in terms of speed, handling etc i dont think there is an advantageHowever i may be wrong
lukEp
think the benifit would be brake upgrade gt4 brakes fit and are 5 stud also most of the bigger better brake system are on the 5stud toyotas so this would be your benifit but then getting the drive shafts to fit in the new hubs wouldnt be easy. miib14
theres a guy with an e10 corolla who has done 5 stud conversion,he has used celica st202 (straight bolt on (fronts)) and is using celica st205 front 4 pot coversion with impreza discs...but it is powered by a 3SGTE lolhttp://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/ind...howtopic=117893also he told me that the st205 front 4 pot calipers fit corolla hubs but got to use impreza 295 discs and get them drilled to 4 stud and use spacers behind the brake pads as disc is alot thinner...
