jon5698 Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 Hi i need some help, when i fitted my sard bov i took the standard one off. But when i came ti fit the plug to cover up the hole where the old bov was fitted i noticed that the brass fixing was sticking up. I am not sure if i have pulled this up by tightening the bolt up too much or weather it is supposed to be like this? when i tried to refit my standard one it wont go far enough into the hole to make an air tight seal!! can anyone help? cheers jon. jon5698 Posted December 30, 2006 Author Share Posted December 30, 2006 The inside is threaded for the bolt which holded the old re-circulating bov but the outside has loads of little spikes on it to keep it in place. I have tried screwing it back in but it won't move and i can't take it out as i need it to screw the metal plate in place which holds the cover which fills the hole .
