nah they're easy peasy, just unscrew it.

Managed to undo mine by hand, well, both hands.

Just turn anti-clockwise, tis tight as streetracer starlet said.

Found with mine I turned it slightly clockwise to loosen it where had gone stiff then turned it anti-clockwise to undo it.

For my machine should be getting a TRD gearknob fairly soon.

(if 'someone' decides to sell it to me )
