Socks Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 problem is... if its spun a bearing it'll need regrinding work on crank and oversized shells...alot of pro engine builders wont touch a engine for a forged build if the bottom end's knocking... because the crankshafts are hardened and when u regrind them u get rid of that hardened layer... so they wear quicker and therefore knock again in no time...thought this was interesting... so if its someone u care about get it him to get hold of a servicable engine ;) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
