james@cjperformance
you pay 4% duty and vat at 20% on personal imported goods
Russleh
do u pay VAT again if u have just bought the item with VAT added on or will it just be duty added on ?
james@cjperformance
yep you have to pay vat on the item you are buying from x company in america then pay imort duty and vat im afraid, its fine if you dont get hit for customs but when you do its a pain as they will not release the goods to you until the charges are payed and if not payed within 7 days they will then charge you ridiculous rates for storage aswell.if you buy from the states again do what i said in my earlier post.who is it being shipped with? dhl ,ems
Russleh
wow what a rape. 20% income tax , 20% vat , 24% import duty and vat haha and thats not ment to be stealing. mine is comin from malta so dunno if that will be any different

james@cjperformance
it is just luck of the draw weather you get hit for customs or not, anything over the £130 mark you are liable for customs chargesjust be done with it and get a tongs
