jezza Posted February 9, 2011 Share Posted February 9, 2011 I had intentions of doing this very thing so bout 6m of 38mm CDS tube and roll cage weld on saddle brackets. I atempted to bend the tube on a manual pipe bender and failed. Kinded the pipe badly!I can send you the drawing of the roll hoop if you can get one made for me Not sure how accurate the drawing is but would give you a starting point. starlet666 Posted February 9, 2011 Share Posted February 9, 2011 roll cages have to be mandrel bent.... and the welding has to be "perfect" i have seen so many people make a cage, thinking they can, and boy of boy..... some of the work has been horrible, down to a point where i wouldnt even get in the car at all......tig weld it all, or mig it if u have made mid skills, and make sure it is damn perfect before u install it in the car... because its a prick to bolt it in 6 times just to find out one part isnt made right Quote Link to post Share on other sites
