Bank transfer

i sent sum money this mornin by bank transfer with my online banking as my paypal is not workin :S but the guy I've sent it too hasnt receieved it yet just wondering if bank transfers are suppost to be instant ? as i thort they were

If its to the same bank e.g. from lloyds to looyds it should be pretty instant but if its another bank it might take a day or two. thats what happend with me

It depends what bank you are both with? It can take 3-5 days, with some banks it's instant. If I transfer from HSBC to Santander it's instant, however if I do it vice versa it takes 4 days for the money to show up.

Yep some instant, others take a few hours / couple of days

id never trust paying by bank transfer you have no comeback if he doesnt send the product oe w.e your not covered by paypal

aye matey i kno wa your sayin like they guy has good rep on tgtt i checked before i sent the money so every thing shud be ok only done it becoz me paypal dont seem to work correctly it sends echeques so i need to sort it out just havent got round to doing it yet

May take a while mate, I sent money from Lloyds to another bank earlier and it says it should take around 2 hours, the money is there now so its pretty good.

I also prefer bank transfer aslong as you trust the seller
