What does "G" stand for on a turbo?

Recommended Posts

I have bought a TD04 Turbo and the advert said it was 5g, is this normal for a td04? what G is a ct9?

there are 141 different versions of tdo4 turbo

the g part denots the compressor wheel used. you also get L, HL H, HR, T and B corresponding to housings

heres a link to some of those turbos

a tdo4 11B would be closer to a ct9a/b

a tf035 is probably the best suited to the 4efte - its found on the mk1 forester turbo
