  1. I had a RT manifold for a few years without an issue too, what do me and Socks have in common ? RT map .... just saying. Ask Ricky about bracing it as if you brace it wrong you could void the warranty due to the fact the manifold will expand and contract when warming and cooling and if you brace it wrong you could put strain on it in the wrong place.
  2. We have flash flooding but not suffering from it, I have a pedalo, enjoying the shit out of it.
  3. This You are a new driver, you'll struggle to get insurance with mods so just don't do it. We have all been there so just sit it out until the no claims allow. It does get better. For example, I'm insured an a K20 DC2 Integra now for less than 30% of my 1st year on a standard 1.2 Clio.
  4. I'll pop over for a nosey. Only round the corner and James is a good mate of mine.
  5. PM'd @OP I was only joking tbh.
  6. You put a fivers worth of fuel in your car ? I'm sorry but how tight/skint are you ?!
  7. Got a mate who might have these. Just dropped him a message.
  8. Yes, as they may run in classes that don't allow them or may be road cars etc. They work.
  9. It make perfect sense. A lot of really fast FWD draggers run wheelie bars to prevent the back squatting too much under launch without making the back really twitchy with solid suspension or lock bars.
  10. Selling a load of mags (71 total) through eBay so thought I'd let you guys know about it. Not wanting much for them just want them gone so bid and maybe grab a bargain as there's over £300 worth of mags there !! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271251343990
  11. This ..... Should of been disqualified for this as he would of even come in the top 3 had everyone used slicks like he did.
  12. For the 1st time in 7 years, I don't think I'm going this year. Shame as I have 6 mates with Hondas all competing and another in a Vauxhall. Going Karting instead.
  13. I had a Clio DCi, on a run it would do 65-70mpg easily. To work and back which is less than 5 mile round trip it would do alot less like 45ish as it wasn't getting up to temp fully.
  14. Watch it a lot as a mate of mine is competing in the Club FWD class in an Astra GSI.
  15. There was a fall out between a few of them I think. Then they all got different cars and went there own ways. But I've been wrong before.
  16. My arse would still have hold of the seat now !! Shit man.
  17. They're awesome. I'm on my second, handle awesome, look cool and have a massive aftermarket following ! Main problem is they rot, badly. MAzda thought it would be a good idea to channel rainwater down through the sills via a little ribber grommet. The only problem is when this fills with leaves/roadgrime over the years it blocks up and the water just sits in the sills, making them rot from the inside out. By the time you can see it, it's too late and needs new arches welding in. Despite this I love mine Such a shame I'm going to have to sell it in the next month or so.
  18. It can and has been done on Starlets the same as they do when socketing the Honda ECUs but nobody wants to put the time and effort needed to crack the standard ecu. Piggybacks are much cheaper then mapping the stock ecu would cost anyway.
  19. Little update. don't really take may pics so sorry for the lack of those. 1st off some more packages turned up This was my Ali rad from Dan's group buy and 2 new rear calipers as both mine were siezed. Fitted new rear calipers, pads and discs. Loads better Old pads .... Not good at all :/ Also whilst the wheels were off I noticed this on the front left. No ideal but luckily I have new (to me) wheels and new tyres in the garage so got them put on but no pics of those just yet. Also did a little track work at Cadwell park in her. I love tra
  20. They're not as loud as you might think. 2 mates with turbo Hondas (both over 500hp) run them and both fell under the 105db sound limit at Cadwell park. The screamer was louder when on boost though. My main concern if I was you would be the bumper. You do get slight scorches and 9 times out of 10 the exhaust moves back a bit and burns itself and elongated hole in the bumper/lip.
  21. Most will calculate transmition losses from a run down after the run, if you watch most dyno operators they will rev the car out then pull it out of gear (whilst reving it down too) and let it run down. Dynos then work it out from there. Best person to speak to here would be Ricky from Race-Tech as I know he did massive amounts of research before buying hes dyno.
  22. Piaggio Zip as my daily, no pics as it was shit and just for getting to the bird house and stuff. Work truck was one of these weapons Was awesome trucking around at 16 in this ! (They're classed as tractors so it was all legal, run on red diesel legally too !) Would of run it as a daily if it did better than 6mpg haha.
  23. Driver

    daily car?
