So now I have your attention, when you've done with your old car magazines what do you do with them ? I have been reading Banzai and Japanese performance for years, Honda Tuner since it came out and many others on and off such as Fast Ford, PPC, Total Vauxhall etc etc and don't think I have ever thrown a magazine away. This has never been a problem due to living in a massive house with loads of free space but recently moved into a smaller house (nicer area and a big garage etc etc) so space is more important. I'm going to pipe up and say I ran 270ish on a stock engine for about 18 month without a hitch. Wasn't on a FCD mind but the car loved it. It's all in the tune.

As far as I know they are still going to be building them but just not bringing them in to the UK as the US market for them is still quite good ? However I've been wrong before.

This ^^ And when he says deathed it, he isn't joking. That car spent 90% of its life over 5k at WOT. I ran 1.4 daily and 1.6 on a few occasions. Arse dyno said it will have been approx 270/280bhp. It is all down to the tune and I'm sure TD are more then capable of mapping a stock block to that power without any issues. It will be fine, enjoy it and stop worrying.

blue is 16x16 mapping tables and ultimate is 20x20 and ultimate can do launch control but that's the only differences that you'd be interested in. MS ECUs can be bought complete and aren't bad at all and MX5 boys run them alot more often now and the kit car boys have been running them for years !!!
