diller
Wel guys i got my pillar pod the other day and was wondering has anyone fitted one of them because theres no clips to clip it bak in where the original was or the little hook at the end.......theres a screw to screw it to the body but i dont tink thats enough to prevent it to from rattlin with the weight of the gauges in it. im thinkin of going back to my carbon univeral one and fitting it tighter as its easy do,but i bought the one from TM an loving it and want to fit it badly......could i getsome lips fitted to the bak of this to put the clips on???? any advice thanx Diller
GTturbo_auto
i can tell you mines being held in by the 1 screw and its holding just fine!bareing in mind my cars loaded with handling mods and body stiffeners making for a not so smooth ride i think its holding up quite well.especially when you consider i mounted 3 x 60mm defi gauges in to it.only extra tip i would say is put a piece of sticky back foam along the bottom where it matches up to the dash board to stop excess rattle. Idrees
You can screw it where it's supposed to be clipped, or use strong double sided tape to hold it up.
