t-j-wilson Glanza V
Hey guys, i removed my air con today, everything went fine and the car felt more responsive/powerful, whether this was physcological who knows ;).I was happy with everything untill i came across this broken wire, http://img862.imageshack.us/i/img00415201103121424.jpg/http://img834.imageshack.us/i/img00416201103121425.jpg/I have no idea whether this was like this before i started, or caused from me doing the removal... Does anyone know what this is/does??Also i was given this air filter relocation pipe when i got the car, can anybody help me and tell me whether it would fit or not before i take it all apart? And if i do put it on, will i get any boost creep or fuel cut or anything? I have no other mods to the engine apart from air-con removal, baileys dump valve and hi/lo boost solenoid by-pass....http://img855.imageshack.us/i/img00412201103121351.jpg/http://img25.imageshack.us/i/img00414201103121351.jpg/http://img855.imageshack.us/i/img00412201103121351.jpg/http://img847.imageshack.us/i/img00413201103121351.jpg/Many thanks, tobie
crouchy
hiya mate the air filter relocation pipe u got wont fit the standard turbo as the intake part of the turbo is 51mm i think and u will need a 90 degree bend on the metal pipe aswell for it to fit behinf the grill
t-j-wilson Glanza V
Ahh right, i've seen on some that people have put the silicone hose from the turbo, not the metal piping, if i connected the metal piping to the turbo and silicone hose to the air filter would this not get it into an 'ok' position? As im sure if i had measured the inside diameter correctly the metal pipe would be near enough 51mm? Any info on the boost creep etcc ? ;) Thanks for the reply

t-j-wilson Glanza V
Ahh right okk, well i have an air filter but unsure about the make. So i'll be looking to get a new one when i get the relocation kit so it fits haha. Does anyone know about bad effects from doing this without the supporting mods, or go ahead with it and see if there is any creep or fuel cut...?Cheeers, Tobie
