The Toffinator Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 Just started noticing that when my car is at a low idle of say 900rpm, there is a tapping noise coming from the engine, like a rythmitic tick. engine runs absolutely perfect. the noise gets quiter as you tickle the throttle and when the revs rise it dissapears completely. could it be valve lifters?
