removing aircon

was reading this after taking my aircon out at the weekend.

surely, youd be better to let the pressure out from the L behind the passenger headlight.

It has the following advantages

1) Working from the low pressure side

2) if you cover with a rag and let it out, any leaks go on the splash guard, not on your bodywork

3) its much easier to hold

4) take a bit longer, so you can have a fag with the other hand

and then after just touch the high pressure one for a few seconds to let the tinest little bit out of that side of the piping.

just seeing if anybody else agrees? i would have posted this on the aircon removal thread, but its locked to replies.
