SG_EP91 Posted April 12, 2011 Share Posted April 12, 2011 Well lads just new to this website and seems to have great info and help.Well am trying to remove the glue thats behind the door trim that's been there by the looks of things since the car was manufactured and just took of the tiny bit of trim on the front driver side wing and was scrubbing and tried a hair dryer at it too get it of but its like its well hardened in.. I want to remove all the trim but once i get help/advice on how to get rid of the glue once they come of then it'd be a great help..Hope you's have some helpfull tips/solutionscheers Quote Link to post Share on other sites

SG_EP91 Posted April 12, 2011 Author Share Posted April 12, 2011 Nail polish removerAuto Glym Tar removerWhite spirityeah well i ave sumfin lyk white spirits and tar remover mixed into the one(and its paint friendly) but it not that good cause there seems to be like hardened kinda foam along with the glue.. just pure scum more less and dirt all bedded in.. would a heat gun work cause i tried a bit with a solder iron and it worked but i'd be there for about a month Quote Link to post Share on other sites
