Starbuck
I have fitted a blue to the car. Do the previous MAPs stay stored on the system? Is there a way of reseting the unit to wipe the settings off?Can you run the car without having the unit mapped until it gets mapped? Thanks. N80Jamie
I'm pretty sure it has a basic map on it which is similar to the standard ecu? So it will fuel for standard boost. Not 100% though so don't go out in you car and blow your engine up and blame me haha
Starbuck
All these emanage users and no-one can answer???How about where does the boost harness get attached too? Off the inlet mani where my boost gauge is plumbed from?I know there is an emanage forum but looking at the posts and replies its hardly used. I can't also seem to get the software to recogise my unit although it flashes orange on the interaction light. Main unit is green.Actually it looks like i need the support tool cd first. Has anyone got a copy please. I could do with it ASAP as i probably won't be too TD for over a week or more.
lukerobz
the previous map will still be on the unit you could run it yes untill you get it mapped to your cra but not advisable your car may run like crap ect till you do get it mapped to your car

Starbuck
More than likely. lol. It'll have to wait as i've got stuff to fit before i get it mapped
Gtstu
if you set the jumpers up inside the unit and wire it in to the car plug the emb in to your laptop and set all the values in the inlection map and ignition map to zero then it will be the stock ecu controlling eveything.
