hill_bill10
yeh u can but they need adjusting at the drum because its only not working on one side
james@cjperformance
Yes you can adjust at the drum.30mm nut undo it and remove the drum.Inspect the brake shoes and cylyners for uneven wear and fluid leaksYou will see at the top there is a spring mechanism with a sort of cog attached you need to tun it to adjust the brake shoes.Clean up the drums and refit Repeat on both sides until both brakes seem to be the same.Note:you will have to do this with the handbrake off:)

james@cjperformance
Its worth doing mate if you adjust it on the handbrake you will just end up stretching the cables:)

james@cjperformance
I find it easier than changing hanbrake cables on the deck lol get it done
hill_bill10
yeh, got it done, its not as hard as it sounds, hardest bit is gettin the drum off because its so old and rusty lol

siren676
There is an easier way than removing the drums. There is a small hole on the back of the drum that you can fit a flat blade screw driver into. If you have an inspection mirror you should be able to see the adjustment cog inside.Use the screw driver to spin the cog until you get the brakes where you want them. Raz
Now that sounds easier.
james@cjperformance
Imo you should remove the drums every time to inspect the brake cylinders and brake shoes for wear.Far better then using the inspection hole.
hill_bill10
yeh its better to remove them and give them a clean up too really, they were rather dusty lol
