d-a-n
Just tried to bleed the coolant system on my N/A EP91 by running the engine with the radiator cap off and allowing the fan to come on so that I know the coolant has exchanged. The car was parked with the nose pointing uphill so that the rad cap is the highest point. All good. I've left it to all cool down, come back, squeezed a few hoses and checked the radiator level and that's to the top, but the coolant bottle/expansion tank level has dropped. I understand that this has a tube that runs to the bottom of it inside so it sucks fluid up, but how do you refill this bottle? I'm assuming the rad and coolant tank need to be topped up to the correct levels. Do I just pull the top off or is there a more scientific method?!CheersDan
d-a-n
Haha, what a tard, just pulled the top of the bottle off and then filled it directly! Used to these Audis where everything is screwed down with a thread!
