tez Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 as aboveits all around the battery area and inlet area, where thermo is.The water temp didnt rise. and nor did engine temp.car was fine no problems.I didnt even notice it. till just popped bonnet.what could this be?ive just noticed that one of the turbo water lines(silicone hose) hasnt got a p clip on the endcould this be the cause?the pipe heating up causing it to spray out the hose end and move around engine when moving?cheers. DavidAshton Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Thermo not sealing, hose not holding where it joins thermo housing, they would be the obvious suspects.Get it cleaned up, up to temp and watch what happens, im sure you will be able to pin point it when its running.
