shelly_star Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I've got a full tank of petrol, but last night after starting up the car the fuel light decided to stay constantly on which was annoying, is it just a sensor that's stuck? Anyone had this problem before? Quote

Driver Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I had this problem. turned out to be a broken wire on the sender itself. Soldered together and heat wrapped and problem solved. Quote
beefy Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Were would i find the sender and wat wire broke? Please help thanks haha Quote
Flaminsam Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 The sender is under the back seat. Your better removing it with a near empty tank of fuel. You will need a 8mm socket and ratchet to remove it. And the whole picking up crap from the bottom of the tank........ The fuel pump is at the bottom of the tank. It has a gauze on it to prevent any debris being picked up by the pump. Quote
