I have been toying with the idea of buying an EP70 and turning it into a sleeper, love the old skool look and fancy working on one. Got a couple of questions though, i would be doing an engine transplant with the 4e-fte as i have seen this done on other projects.

So I know what im letting my self in for, what would it take to do it

Does the engine drop straight in on the mounts

Is the gearbox the same?

Driveshafts?

anything else i should consider.

How much should i pay for an EP70 and which model should i go for, lighter the better plz

Look forward to your comments :D

The more i look at these tin boxes the more i like them lol, plus they getting pretty rare now so would be an awsome track day car/sleeper.

I just need info on the conversion to help me decide if i am going to do it.

Not sure how to go about it, either use my Starlet for all the parts i need or have both :D lol

Can't really help with your questions but just wanted to say...............

LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is all :D

I am starting to get a bit obsessed over these cars now lol cant be good, i just need to look for the right one to come along, preferably with as little rust as possible, but i guess thats going to be extremely difficult with our wet climate.

Here is one though, but i think i can get it cheaper dont you?
