is there such thing as a small but still good sub

Ive seen this done but never heard one on.wuldnt mind hearing one as a few people who i have done systems for have asked me.i guess if you get a mdf parcel shelf with some 6x9's it wuld sound good though.

wow..erm thanks for the help... my 6x9s are 330w pioneers, so that little 6x9 sub may be what im after as i dont wana shake the car to bits but, want some bass.

Dont forget if your putting in a sub to have it in its own seperate enclosed chamber and that the box is designed for the subs specs to allow for volume + proper depth otherwise it will sound shit, 95% of car audio design and quality is in the enclosure design and build, which is quite an exact science to get it perfect... If you have the dimensions right, your system will sound mint even with only one lickle sub. :lol:

Yea the starlet does shake a little with an MTX sub lmao

The only problem with putting a sub on the parcel shelf is the quality of sound you may recieve

Some subs are meant to be in sealed boxes and others vented, therefore if you buy one that should be sealed it eill sound crap on parcel shelf

You may also find that the parcel shelf may vibrate a fair bit aswell
