mech5107
The dyno is with stock TMIC, stock ecu, stock CT12 turbo, boost something like 0.65.It had full exhaust and dp and HKS intake, iridium plugs and KV85 wires. Now it's much more powerfull, i will do some fine tuning on my ignition map and dyno it around christmas vacation. The car weights ~800kg.
Clinternational
Very nice list of goodies Love the bride seat..... Is that haltech an reliable ecu actually ?
mech5107
Reliable? By what meaning? The hardware is good...The mapping it's up to the tuner...
Clinternational
Not the hardware. The ecu itself. Most people say that haltech is`a little more reliable than the microtech.I also need such an ecu. So do you have good experience on using the haltec ecu ?
mech5107
I see...The E6X I use is pretty old school ecu. Lacks on features like VE tuning, traction control, canbus, etc.The current model like mine is the sprint 500. It's good for a basic 4 cylinder engine like the starlet, but has ve and can.To be honest, you can't beat a megasquirt on the price/features...
