mork
Does anyone know what the differences are between the starlet ct9 turbo and other Toyota ones such as the Lucida and Previa? They have a different compressor housing, a bit like a Td04 where the outlet is circular. The rest looks the same.
keirz
the comp wheel and shaft are slightly smaller but wouldn't be too much of a power loss. To fit you will need to mod the intercooler pipe but other than that it will fit the same, may have to mod a bracket to mount a hks actuator too it as the stock actuator on the non starlet ct9s have very weak diagrams. There are a few ct9s but none of which are as good as a ct9b from the glanza. Size wise all the others are smaller.
mork
Is it possible to fit the compressor housing from this ct9 to the starlet turbo without changing anything? I want the hotpipe to face down and prefer the round outlet to the factory flange.
keirz
no buddy the compressor wheels are different sizes, so would need to change that also the re balance ect. Best bet is to rotate your current one and cut the stock intercooler pipe down
