wishbone bushes removed

Recommended Posts

as above i've removed standard front wishbone bushes.. as i'm fitting poly-bushes

question is how do i remove inner front metal tube as that also has a small lip rubber on it too ???

, as i will be having these wishbones powder-coated which will go in a very hot oven to bake so dont want to ruin anything..

i'm sure some people on here hav had thres powdercoated wht did u do ?

Thanks! :)
You can get rid of it all, EXCEPT the round/halfmoon shaped washer for the rear of the wishbone you will need this when putting the antilift kit on....assuming you are?
Ok sounds straight foward then..

BUt i wont be usung a "lift kit"

Basically i'm upgrading to poly bushes only

Thanks bro :)

ahh then in that case i hope you havent cut off the rear crush tube iirc you still need it....along with the round/halfmoon washer

oh.. think i'l leave the rear crush tube on there n only remove the half moon washer

then get the wishbones powder-coated ?

Thanks for the advice bro..

appreciated :)

yeah you can remove all of the front one (cylinder bush) and keep the crush tube on and the washers in a safe place....ask them not to coat the crush tube tho seems best if you dont and your good to go
