Ive jus found out a new way the police are getting speeders.

Im sure you are all aware of the famous you tube website where you can upload videos.Well the police have been poking there way through them and have begun sucessfully prosectuting people who film themselves speeding.

I must confess i have and some of you may have seen my video which has been promptly removed.

So if your in a video speeding get it it removed.

interesting, you got any links to threads or news items?

would like to see how they can prove who was driving/time/date/location/actual speed/video hasn't been modified and that they're going to be taking you to court within 6 months of the incident?

waste of tax payers money and police time, because the courts will chuck most the cases out due to insufficient details/evidence!

Here is a couple.

Caught

Brum Brum

It was in a shop where i read a different story. They apparently tracked the video of the first video back to his house where he started filming. They are gonna scout through the videos and try and locate the time and place to get CCTV footage of people speeding.A bit of waste of time to be honest. The money could be spent on better policing.

It was only a matter of time before they started doing that as theres soooooooooo many on there,i cant understand why anyone would put a vid of themselves speeding on the internet especially if they or their car are visible! :p You might as well just email it straight to the coppers or the court and ask for a ban etc! The forums are all scanned too. :p
