hkturbo
i know this is a common problem on toyotas.. basically its the first initial press down on the pedal which is stiff and then its fine. but that stiff push is so annoying as it burns the clutch and gives a shit drive. I've wd40'd the throttle but still not luck.

Asad
Didnt know it was common ^take the cable off the throttle body and spray some wd40 down the cable inbetween the sheath and metal wire youll need a straw for the wd40

hill_bill10
mine has the same issue, its not the cable, its the throttle body, its the butterfly sticking.try taking off your tb and giving it a really good clean with some brake cleaner.
corofin12345
dont mess with the pully stops, nuts etc on the throttle body, move the pully by hand to see if its stiff, take off cable if needs be.. id say its the butterfly as said above.. check the cabe too once its disconnected from the pully, use the pedal to push in and out
