Nanglebadger
Folks,i have a quick one on behalf of a friend.Mate of mine owns a drag spec scoobie, he runs straightliners here in NI.He would LOVE to fit a perspex rear window but can find no where to do it, apparently its very difficult to get perspex to bond to metal and they end up leaking!does anyone know of any way to mount a perspex screen to a car in such a way as to make it water proof????Cheers folks,Phil. james@cjperformance
silicone and a rivet gun unless he has them made to measure which would enable him to use the factory rubber.I would opt for polypropelene over perspex tbh as perspex shatters in the event of an accident
Jamie1st
I know for most cars you buy the perspex windows cut out/shaped to match the car. I should imagine if you can get hold of a company that has the correct ones for the scoob they should advise the best way for fitting.http://www.plastics4performance.com/ give these a try, they also ship world wide.Jamie. Ryan-11
just make sure u key the perspex before u put the sealer on, gives the sealer something to grip, sikaflex is what i would use, that stuff sticks anything lol
