QUADLIGHT GT Posted October 26, 2011 Share Posted October 26, 2011 Hi guys!want to know how to roll my rear arches wihout damage to paint work on my ep82ive heard it can be done DIY with a rubber mallet but how good is the finishing look tho ???have already removed my arch strip jus need to know how to roll them DIY Thanks! nazzurro19 Posted October 26, 2011 Share Posted October 26, 2011 Stick a piece of scaffolding between ya arch and the tire , have a mate hold it steady so id dont go off centre etc then slowly reverse back , and repeat with bigger scaffolding til its rolled to the rate u want lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites
wssoR Posted October 26, 2011 Share Posted October 26, 2011 I did it really well on my n/a, heat the area that you'll be working on with a heat gun, make sure you heat it sufficiently though or the paint will crack, I then wrapped a tea towell round a hammer and bent the lip back, simple enough, came out really well too Quote Link to post Share on other sites
