the quiet achiever Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 hi i have bumping noise coming from LHR shockie .mechanic advises the noise location is visible when looking @ the top mount from inside the car he is reluctant to dismantle without some parts do i get top mounts & a pr of shockies & do both sides when he pulls LHS apart please give me your opinions on what i should buy to replace KYB shockies & std mounts using Kings springs what is currently available ??your suggestions please thanks lyle Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Are the two top mount nuts tightened up properly? You need to find the source of the problem first and be sure of it before throwing money at it. Neither of the above components are cheap especially if its a case of something not being tight. Kyb excel g gas shocks are great with tein s tech springs.
