Changing springs ???

I know this is prob a really simple task but.....

I currently have tein lowering springs on upgraded shocks (dont know what kind) anyway i want to raise the car up a bit by putting on spax 40mm lowering springs, can anybody explain in an idiots guide how to put the new springs in the shock ( i know how to get the shock etc off the car.

Any help would be good ;)

You need a set of spring clamps to tension the springs together on the shocks once they have tensioned up they should move up and down freely,

Once the above step has been accomplised you will need to undo the big nut on the top of the shocker which will release the the top plate enabling you to slide the spring off,
